Queer writers developing a series concept - this one's for you!
Join us for our second Queer Story Workshop of 2024 - a one-day workshop in Tāmaki Makaurau.
We will hear from three screenwriters - Harry McNaughton (Madam), Victoria Boult (n00b) and K-Ci Williams (Literally Dead) - as they share their experiences in screenwriting and elaborate on writing techniques they’ve learnt along the way. The workshop will include practical writing exercises and group work. Attendees are encouraged to come with at least one series idea in mind to get the most out of the workshop.
The workshop is aimed at queer, lgbtqia+, rainbow, takatāpui, fa'afafine and fakaleitī filmmakers, wanting to learn more about writing for series. It would most suit emerging writers and filmmakers - but any level of experience is welcome.
