Up to three places on offer for experienced queer screenwriters to attend an intensive comedy masterclass with Michael J. Weithorn

Proud Voices On Screen is offering up to three places in a half-day masterclass with Emmy Award nominee Michael J. Weithorn. This is a rare opportunity to learn from someone with decades of experience in writing and creating comedy and sitcoms in the US. The masterclass will include scene breakdowns, writing exercises and rigorous, generous conversation. 

Participants will need to have produced screen credits (e.g. web series, series or feature credits) and the workshop best suited to experienced writers who are looking to deepen their comedy writing craft. Participants will need access to a laptop with screenwriting software to attend the Masterclass.

This Masterclass is presented in collaboration with PASC, PISA, NAW and WIFT (each organisation is offering places to their members). As Proud Voices On Screen is not a membership organisation, we are offering places to our audience / subscribers / queer industry members in general - so this call out is aimed at queer screenwriters.

When: Sat 21 March 9:30am - 1pm
